WOW!

We have 14 people - YES, I said FOURTEEN!! The pot is currently sitting at $70 for next week. I know we had several people who could not be there last night and that is okay! You can get in on the fun anytime, just know that once you join, you are making a commitment through August 22! I expect two additional people next week, which will take the pot the following week to $80!

I am so proud of each of you that have taken this step! I know we can all accomplish our goals and we will be celebrating each others' victories each week.

We can do it!

So, how did everyone do on their first day? I was pretty focused so it wasn't too bad. I stayed within my 20 WW points, I got my 64 oz of water in and my eating/snacking cutoff time is 7pm so I'm done for the night.

I was wondering- would anyone be interested in emailing lowfat recipes to me and I could print them off and bring them each Wed to share with everyone? I don't mind doing that if people think that would be helpful. Just let me know your thoughts!

I think that is a great idea. I will see what recipes I have to contribute. My first day went pretty well until dinner and we ordered pizza! I did work out though so hopefully it cancels that out! Tommorow is a new day.....Good luck girls!!!!!!

If you plan to contribute recipes, please also include the factual information such as fat, fiber, calories, how much is considered a serving, etc.... I know that some are doing WW so if the recipe mentions how many points its worth, include that too. That will be helpful for everyone to be able to figure out what they are eating and then can match it to their diet. Thanks!!

If I join, I'll have to give everyone my recipe for sopapilla cheesecake. It's a winner (for ME if everyone else eats it)!

Good luck, everybody!

My first day went well, but I didn't get to go work out. My in-laws are coming tonight and we are going out with some old friends from college. So, I get to tackle restaurant food. How can I possibly say no to french toast at Cracker Barrell????

Tami,

This doesn't make it fun or any easier to pass on the bread but I have always heard that you should eat some very low fat (low point) foods before you go so that when you get there you won't be as hungry. Then you can have a FEW bites of what you really want but you won't be tempted to clean your plate. Good luck. Eating out is SOOOO hard for me. I am avoiding the Mexican food restaurants.

We just went to the park and took the boys to get snow cones. It was very tempting but I didn't get one. I did take a couple tiny bites of Jason's but I made myself do without. (sigh)
